Squared Spirals on Cuzco

On the frame now is the quilt I made to test a pattern for my dear friend, Jessica.   Part of it is a computer pattern, part of it is free hand by me.  I am really enjoying the process, having a good time!

Sew far, sew good,

Grand Opening Special Offer

From September 1 through November 30, 2013, the Grand Opening Special Offer is the following edge to edge patterns at $.01 per square inch!  Yes, that is a penny a square inch.  If your quilt is a twin size (68" x 88" = 5,984 square inches) the price to quilt it edge to edge with one of the following patterns would be $59.84 plus the $5.00 thread charge (and sales tax on the thread charge.  The minimum of $40.00 does apply.)

She's here!

Do you name your sewing machines?  Do they have boy or girl names?  I have one named Bernie.  It just fits him.  (Yes, it's a guy).   But my new machine is Betsy.   Here is a photo:

She has a 26" throat space and is computerized.  I can "drop the belts" on this girl and do my own thing, which I like - a lot!  I tried just about every long arm made and this one felt the best to me.  Plus the computer program is very intuitive to me.   She came loaded with a bunch of patterns, but of course, I am on the lookout for more.   She loves King Tut thread.
